Connecting ShotGlasses to Your TrackingPoint System
Unfortunately, ShotGlasses are no longer supported or in production by Recon. However, if you already own a pair, you can still connect them to your TrackingPoint system using the steps below. (Note: Only Recon Jet ShotGlasses purchased directly from TrackingPoint include the ShotView app.)
Step-by-Step Connection Instructions:
Power On the ShotGlasses
Use the bottom rocker button on the right side of the ShotGlasses to power them on.
Ensure the glasses are charged before proceeding.
Navigate to Settings
Use the square scroller button (on the right side) to move to the Settings menu.
Press forward on the rocker button to select Settings.
Access Wi-Fi Connectivity
Scroll down to Connectivity and press forward on the rocker button to open it.
Select Wi-Fi, then scroll to the bottom of the menu and select "Show Password" by pressing forward on the rocker button.
Enter Wi-Fi Password
Select the password entry space to open the on-screen keyboard.
Use the rocker button to enter your TrackingPoint Wi-Fi password. (Tip: Use the downward-facing arrow to access lowercase letters.)
Connect to TrackingPoint Wi-Fi
Once the password is entered, press back on the rocker button, then select Connect at the bottom of the menu.
Ensure you are near the TrackingPoint system and that its Wi-Fi is turned on.
Launch the ShotView App
Exit back to the main menu and select the ShotView App to start using the ShotGlasses with your TrackingPoint system.
Important Notes
Once connected, you won’t need to repeat these steps unless you reset the Wi-Fi settings or use a new TrackingPoint system.
Ensure your ShotGlasses are fully charged for uninterrupted use.
