TrackingPoint Error Messages

One of the most common error messages encountered is the Bolt Error, displayed as Error #200 or #201. When this occurs, you will see the following message on your system:


"Advanced Mode is Inoperable OK To Shoot In Traditional Mode Call 1-512-222-0501 to Resolve Press Mode To Clear"

 

How to Clear the Error:

Follow these steps to resolve the error:

  1. Power Down the System

    • Turn your system off completely.

  2. Cycle the Bolt

    • Manually cycle the bolt once.

  3. Power the System Back On

    • Restart your system and check if the error is cleared.


 

What to Do if the Error Persists:

If the error message or Check Scope Light remains:

  1. Hold down the Mode button until an Error Number appears on the screen.

  2. Note the error number displayed.

  3. Contact our support team at 1-512-222-8626 or send us the error number, and we will assist you further.

Other Common Error Codes and Their Fixes

Below is a list of common error codes you may encounter and how to resolve them:


 

Button Errors (#300 - #306)

  • #300: Mode Button Stuck

  • #301: Power Button Stuck

  • #302: Range Button Stuck

  • #303: Wind Left Button Stuck

  • #304: Wind Right Button Stuck

  • #305: Zoom In Button Stuck

  • #306: Zoom Out Button Stuck


Solution:

  1. Turn the system off.

  2. Press and compress the stuck button until you hear it click back to its normal position.

  3. Power the system back on and check for resolution.


 

Battery Connection Errors (#1200 - #1201)

  • These errors indicate that the battery is not fully connected to the system.


Solution:

  1. Power down your system.

  2. Remove and reattach the battery, ensuring it is securely connected.

  3. Turn the system back on to confirm the issue is resolved.


 

Trigger Issues (#804 - #805)

  • These errors typically indicate a problem with the trigger mechanism.


Solution:

  • Contact our support team and provide the error code for further assistance.
